(1) According to the composition of the glue, there are the following kinds of glue used for building plywood:
1.Urea-formaldehyde glue: moisture-proof glue/for indoor decoration, furniture, not for outdoor.
2.Melamine glue: moisture-proof, and has a certain resistance to boiling, weather resistance/can be used outdoors or indoors, but can not be often soaked in water.
3.Phenolic glue: moisture resistance, excellent boiling resistance, weather resistance/can be used outdoors or indoors, can withstand outdoor wind and rain.
(2) According to the environmental protection grade, the glue used for plywood can be divided into E0 grade,E1 glue, E2 glue (and even E2 grade can not reach the unqualified glue).
1.E0 is the highest environmental rating.
2.E1 grade glue made of plywood can be directly used indoors.
3.High-quality urea formaldehyde glue/melamine glue/phenolic glue can reach E0 level, E1 level, that is, can be directly used indoors.
(3) Environmental protection proposals:
1, if you want to make general indoor wood products, you can use E1 (or even E0) urea-formaldehyde glue; If you further want to make the wood product have stronger waterproof and moisture-proof properties, you can use E1 grade (or even E0 grade) melamine glue.
2, if you want to make wood products for outside the studio, you can use E1 (or even E0) phenolic glue.
